Freedom Park

We live really close to Freedom Park in Naples, Fl. It’s become a go to because our neighborhood doesn’t have easy walking. Freedom Park is situated right near the corner of Golden Gate Parkway and Goodlette Frank. There are boardwalks that go through the woods. Different pavilions are found along the way where one can stop to look at fish, turtles, and many other wildlife.

The children love to visit the giant flag and huge USA map. It’s easy to find Florida even for the youngest.

Sometimes we have to run in different directions to catch up to our runners, but overall we love this park even though there’s no playground. My eldest likes to keep track of the different wildlife she spots so she can add it to the whiteboard near the little educational center.

Pros: Lots of variety of places to walk and explore. There are so many variations of how you can explore and enjoy the park! Cons: No playground & not fenced (There are Gators!) Keep a close eye on the littles.
